Yoda's presence as a Force Ghost makes some allowance for his possible return. T he absence of Billy Dee Williams and Frank Oz raises questions as to whether popular characters Lando Calrissian and Yoda will reappear.
Despite not knowing Serkis' character, it was later confirmed he was the voiceover on the first teaser trailer for The Force Awakens, which was released Nov. Serkis' involvement in the film has drawn speculation he will play a character using motion capture technology. Among the actors announced for the highly anticipated sequel was Andy Serkis, best known for his role as Gollum in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy.
